THE ORIENTATION PROGRAMME
Welcome!
Moving to a new city, let alone a new country, can sometimes be challenging and stressful. That’s why your time at the university typically begins with an Orientation Program, also known as the OP, designed to give you the best possible start to your studies and help you feel at home in your new city.
The OP lasts for three to five weeks, depending on the semester you arrive, and is filled with a variety of fun activities. These include everything from exciting challenges to formal dinners and pub crawls – the perfect way to begin your journey as an international student.
Meet the Generals
The Generals have overall responsibility for the orientation program. Just like you, they were once new students and know that coming to a new university and to a new city can feel both exciting and nerve-wracking.
